HANDMADE DICHROIC GLASS JEWELLERY
Dichroic glass consist of a base coloured glass which has been coated with thin films of metallic oxides to selectively reflect and transmit wavelengths of light. The results is a glass displaying a wonderful, iridescent play of colors. The unique qualities of dichroic glass make it work brilliantly in jewellery. The color changes with its environment and viewing angle creating dynamic, wearable art.
Each dichroic glass jewel is an original unique creation completely hand worked. In a time intensive process, the glass is cut to shape, the pieces are combined in several layers and then fired a number of times in a high temperature kiln to produce some stunning colour combinations and shimmering effects. Once fused the glass is ground to shape and fired once more to achieve the final polished finish.
We make every effort to present each item on our website as accurately as possible. However, dichroic glass is notoriously difficult to photograph. Furthermore, the images you see depend on your monitor's display and colour capabilities. We are therefore unable to guarantee that the product images you see are an identical representation of the exact colour of the item, slight variation may occur.

In this collection you can fully appreciate stunning colour combinations and mesmerizing reflective effects of dichroic glass. The designs are kept very simple to let the beauty of the glass speak for its-self. Pieces range from small delicate pendants to large bold ones, sure to be noticed. This range include pendants, pendant necklaces, earrings and cufflinks.

Parchwork Mosaic range
Small squares an shards of textured dichroic glass are assembled in a mosaic pattern, capped with clear glass for extra depth and then fused together to produce unique colourful pendant necklaces. These are then strung on either black leather cord or matching silk cord necklets for a very contemporary look. Also available earrings and cufflinks.

Romance range
A collection of romantic necklaces featuring stunning dichroic focal beads strung on multi stranded necklets.
The glass beads, which come in a variety of colour tones and patterns, are either simply strung on delicate organza ribbon necklets or coupled with fresh water pearls and Venetian glass beads for an added luxurious touch. Available with gold plated or sterling silver fastening.

Arabesque range
An elegant collection of contemporary dichroic glass and silver jewellery.
This is a range with a strong contemporary feel, boasting vibrant colours and lines reminding of the graceful movements of ballet dancers. Handmade from silver and dichroic glass and touched with occasional gold highlights. Various colours available. Necklaces earrings and brooches.

Piccole Gioie range
This collection feature small dichroic glass focal beads (hence the name Piccole Gioie-small treasures) flanked by silver plated or gold plated accent beads themed to soft microfiber suede thongs to add a little extra colour.

Orient range
Launched in winter 2004, the Orient range remains one of our most popular collections. Here, colourful dichroic cabochones are framed in linear sterling silver frames. Reflecting the simple aesthetic of oriental design they elegantly complement the brilliant iridescence and the unique pattern of the glass. Necklaces, earrings, bracelets and bangles.

Brio range
Launched in June 2007 the Brio is a range of intriguingly playful necklaces in sterling silver and dichroic glass in which the components are left free to move along the neckline bringing gentle jingling sounds to the wearing experience.

This is the most recent of Aurora's collections. In this range of silver necklaces, a classic floral theme is married to a contemporary design. Venetian millefiori beads and sparkling dichroic glass cabochones add colour to this range.
