HANDMADE PRECIOUS METAL JEWELLERY
Beside her glasswork, Aurora Lombardo also produces stylish contemporary percious metal jewllery designs. In our online shop you will find a selection of them. The materials:
Aurora works mainly with .925 sterling silver sheets and wire but also makes use of Precious Metal Clay (PMC) in her creations.
Precious Metal Clay consist of fine particles of pure metal (silver or gold) held together with an organic binder. The clay can be shaped, carved and moulded like a normal clay, but when it is fired in a kiln, the binder burns away leaving a 99.9% pure silver creation.

All pieces of jewellery that are required to have a hallmark are independently assayed and hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office.

Futura and Nova range
The Futura and Nova designs are made from .925 sterling silver sheet or wire with the addition of highlights of 9ct or 18ct gold. They are influenced by natural forms and geometrical shapes.
A strong emphasis is placed on texture and decorative details. Contrasting textures are created through as variety of methods including stamping, reticulation, hammering and engraving, all pieces are handmade with polished, matt or satin finishes.
These ranges of limited edition handmade jewellery includes necklaces, earrings, bracelets and bangles.
