This collection of sterling silver jewellery includes modern as well as more classical designs and features a selection of handmade lampwork beads, semiprecious stones, Swarovski crystals, genuine Murano glass beads and pretty Venetian Millefiori beads.

Millefiori beads are made in glass factories in Murano near Venice (Italy).Their name literally translate as "thousand flowers”. They are handmade from millefiori glass canes which are initally stretched and then cut up into tiny glass bead cylinders beautifully coloured, containing flower resembling patterns. After slumping them in a kiln, Aurora adds them to the designs giving her work a colourful and feminine look.

In addition to the use of original Murano glass beads made by Venetian Artisans, Aurora also include in her jewellery her own lampworked beads.

Lampworking is an ancient glassworking technique whereby glass rods are heated over the flame to a molten state and then winded around a steel mandrel building up layers of color. The glass is then maniputaled into beads. Making shapes out of molten glass is a fascinating and magical process that has become a prominent part of Aurora's time in her workshop.
